Kopp Motorsports extended its winning streak at Hyperfest this past weekend. Racing for the first time this season with competitors from NASA (National Auto Sport Association) Kevin placed the Piper Motorsports / OG Racing #6 on the pole for the race Saturday afternoon a full second faster than the second place car. In a race that suffered from a good deal of carnage, confusion and two full course cautions, Kevin completed the hat-trick by setting the fastest lap and winning the race.
Kevin was even quicker in qualifying Sunday morning and again won the pole position this time a second and a half over the second place car. Starting from the pole in the 23 lap feature race Sunday, Kevin completed his second triple of the weekend again setting the fastest lap of the race and winning the race a full lap ahead of the second place car. In addition, he led every lap.
However, there is little time to savor these victories. In three days we pack the trailer and head back to the war that is the SCCA MARRS series.
